Kids Pick the President

Kids Pick the President is a multiplatform grassroots campaign that empowers kids to be involved in the presidential election process. The 2016 campaign centered around a fully interactive online hub that was made available for the month leading up to the election. Real-time engagement was facilitated through features such as heat maps and word clouds. Additionally, the platform enabled kids to submit questions to the candidates, take personality quizzes, create memes, watch informative videos, and explore candidate bio infographics. Starting October 28, children were given the chance to cast a single vote for a presidential candidate—the results, comprising nearly 1 million unique votes, were revealed during a televised special on November 5.
